I have the Cambridge, Realverb/Dreamverb, Fairchild, Pultec, Pultec pro, 1176,LA-2A , Prec Lim, Prec EQ, Plate 140.

I know this is a very personal decision, but I can not decide if I should get one of the great Neve plugs (and which one) or the SPL Transient Designer. I've heard great things about both. I do a lot of punk drum stuff where the transient designer would probably be great, but at the same time, I don't have ANY of the Neve stuff and love the sound of Neve. Are there any quality freeware transient designers? That way I can get that AND one of the Neve's? Also, what do people think of the Prec Bus Compressor and the Neve 33609 bus comp? I am also kind of low on mastering plugs and may be tempted that direction - as a lot of smaller bands want me to master as well. God, I wish I could afford them all!

I can only afford 1. It should be noted that the comps are 15% off through Nov.

Thank you SO much for advice. I am hoping to choose by tonight/tomorrow

well, I think I have decided to try to sell my DigiMax FS, and use that money plus my $150 voucher to buy a UAD-2 card! I'm thinking the Nevana-32. Thoughts?

Is anyone interested in purchasing the DigiMax FS? It was never used (literally, not once). I bought it thinking the 16 pre's +4 Omni Ins on my DM1000 would not be enough and I was wrong. I haven't needed more than that yet, and judging by the amount of mixing I am doing as opposed to multi-tracking large acts all-at-once, I think the money would be better suited toward the UAD2. Let me know!
