Hello everbody again. In the process of building my home studio, I'm into buying a good mic. I was into the AKG C 4000 B which cost 420 Euros. I run into the Neumann TLM 102, which cost 590 Euros, with the spider elastic suspension in the case just like the AKG.
The problem is that I want to keep the bugdet as low as I can, but I think that this Neumann is better than the actual AKG.
What do you suggest me to buy for my recordings ? I want to record vocals and Acoustic guitars and Amps. Both Mic handle very well all these recordings, as I saw in the reviews, though the web.

I was also looking the Shure KSM32 but I'm not so fun of the last one. I'm great fun of the AKG, but the C 4000 B most of the people I have asked, they swear on it, like Boswell said before....I'm really confused.....
On Maximum 500€ what do you Suggest ?? I shall go for the AKG or Neumann ? I believe that because AKG can change patterns, it could be more ideal. Any suggestions guys ???

If you are aiming to spend this sort of money, what other mics have you looked at and ruled out if these are the only two you are having to choose between? What others do you already have in your mic locker? What pre-amp/interface will you be using with the new mic?
Some people swear by the Cx000 series from AKG, but I've never been a particular fan. For that reason alone, if I had a stark choice between the C4000B and the TLM102, I would probably go for the Neumann if sonic quality were the only factor. However, although it's an older design, the AKG could make a more versatile studio mic with its switchable patterns.
