The KH 310 three-way analog active studio monitor features a Mathematically Modeled Dispersion™ Waveguide (MMD™), flexible acoustical controls, various input options, analog class-AB amplifiers, and an extensive range of mounting hardware. This allows the loudspeaker to be used in diverse acoustical conditions, with any source equipment and in a wide variety of physical locations. The KH 310 represents the latest in acoustic and electronic simulation and measurement technologies to ensure the most accurate sound reproduction possible.
The KH 310 is designed for use as a near-field monitor, as a front loudspeaker in mid-sized multi-channel systems, or as a rear loudspeaker in a larger multi-channel system. It can be used in project, music, broadcast centers, OB vans, and post production studios for tracking, mixing, and mastering.

It could be because of dealer SOP on gear that is that high end; in that in many cases, dealership agreements prevent the reseller from advertising or specifying price.
Perhaps they aren't allowed to specify price in a situation like that; or, it could be that they haven't fixed an actual price yet because they aren't entirely sure themselves of what to sell it for.
The guy mentioned "waiting on certain parts from suppliers" ... maybe they are waiting to see what these parts will cost them before they decide what to charge the consumer. LOL

I have the KH120 A here. They are what I call, boring awesome! You never get tired of them, they aren't hyped and seem to be extremely accurate. I have BM6A and although I like the sound of them better, I tend to want to keep cranking them until I'm burnt out.
These KH 310 A (analog) look like a dream fit for me. I'm going to do my best to get a pair here to test. Maybe louder/ boring awesome!
i'm reading used KH 300 are selling around $2500.00 My quess is these are going to be under $5000 I hope. More like $4000. They will be at NAMM. Anyone here going? Please check them out.

Ditto the above, has been my experience so far. I do some "home studio" stuff, but I use them mainly for "home hi fi", now. I had been using the Mackie HR824 (US-made version). Also part of my experience are proac response ones, various maggies, various kef ref series. The KH have the distortionless treb of the electrostatics and the dynamics of the Mackies. The sound is, quite frankly, spectacular, and in a different league entirely from the aforementioned passive speakers.
They're currently in a living room which is about 17x13x9.5 fi. So if I were to get picky, I'd say that a second pair would better manage huge orchestral stuff. But the sound is still spectacularly accurate: clarinets, pianos, violins, guitar, flute sound … how can I say it?…. more "real" on the kh 310s than on any other monitor I've ever heard, and by a long shot.
Very, very close indeed to sitting in front of the real thing. Piano, in particular, which I find really puts speakers to the test, sounds completely totally, real, in a way in which no other speaker I have heard matches. I've played piano all my life, and that instrument has always struck me as hard not only to record, but also to reproduce.
