No clue how good they are..
That's what they say on ebay :

The Al-46 "Llama" is derived from an Apex 460 (Alctron HT-11) tube microphone. The six micron Chinese k67 is replaced with the 1 Micron LA-1G (ck12) capsule. The Chinese 12AX7 vacuum tube is replaced with a hand selected NOS GE 6072A tube. The stock transformer is replaced with an AMI T14 and 6 other critical circuit components are replaced. The inner head basket mesh is removed, Red LED capsule illumination is added and the body is finished in black powder coating. Overall its as close as you can get to a Telefunken 251 at an unbeatable price!!

They might be very good but they fail in the marketing department. Their website, ebay account and facebook just don't describ their mic well.. they seem to make alot of mods et repair jobs...

I just received an email from Allen Luke where he said the AL-69 & AL 80 have been discontinued. He is not going to continue to hot rod these mics, so that's why there's no info. I assume it's a sourcing issue. The AL 46 is still available but who knows for how long? Probably until they runs through the stock they have on hand.

On the other hand, Allen said they are working on bringing out their own line of mics soon. Looking forward to that.
