They are clones of the old Neve 2254 Compressor.
Colin ( the owner of AML ) was servicing the original 2254's at Mark Knopfler's British Grove studio and desided to make a few. Worth mentioning British Grove studio bought some as well, I sold my vintage gretch drum kit ( I hated to but ) and bought these. Very glad I did. Vocals are so sweet through these.

Nice :) A painful good trade.

Could I ask you what they cost?
For vocals, are you tracking with them or hybrid mixing? If both, which way has the best results, track or mixing OTB ?

If I am tracking vocals I hit them before the box, but if someone sends me a vocal track i'll go out and back in.
They are not the only comps I have, I have several.
These can be linked and used for stereo work as well. Sometimes they are nice to shoot a buss though with minimal compression just for some flavor.
