I've run tests and find pow-r better sounding.

I guess you are comparing Dither, Power Dither with IDR, right?
To my ears I also preferred the Power dither, most times at level 3.

Yes.I'm comparing IDR,POW-R,DIGI DITHER,db tech. ABC dither and also Apogee UV-22.
POW-R sounds best to me.

Yeah, pow-r is really good. I use different kinds depending on what i like at that moment.

Good to read about this topic, yesterday, in the right moment after i puted the POWr just in the inserts i was questionig about this:

may i desactivate the dithering in the L2?
Is it the POWr better than the L2?
when the bounce dialog box from Protools appears, have i to set up in 16 bits? tweakest head or better? or just leave it in 24bits and let the POWr doing the job? this will work?

Alecio, or someone...can you explain me step by step the mastering process in the insert chain in protools? i`m using L2, Linear EQ and POWr...
