Can you track a band into Nuendo with just interfaces ? Or do you have to crap around with a console to 'work round' latency - for pre converter headphone sends...
In other words is PT still in the lead or has Nuendo caught up?

If you have a slamming system and the RME 96/52 card ..latency is not an issue there.
Most Nuendo users can set the buffer to 64 which gives about 3ms which is very useable. Again..it is very system dependant at that point.
Also once Echo gets their shit together with their drivers their products are amazing with direct monitoring features.
But for now RME takes the cake on that one!
Is the Julester thinking about Nuendo? Could it be so? :eek:
