Hi, I am new to mixing. This is my second try at this mix and I would love any feedback/critiques.
Thanks

ok finally someone who doesn't mind the vocal distortion haha. How hard should I cut the vocal mud?

So the next question would be what's your playback system (how are you mixing this?) Headphones? Speakers? Room? I'd start playing around with an good eq/filter and experiment.... Do you see/hear how the two elements (guitars and vocals) just don't mix together very well ?--- when the vocal comes it it's like dropping a heavy bag of sand on the mix....

You need to EQ all the mud out of the vocal - it's not the effect (no issues with your use of effect here) but it sounds like it was recorded in a paper bag. What mic did you use and what pre-amp interface for it. I like the guitar. But the vocal and guitar together sound like two different tracks mixed by different dudes on different sessions so the cohesion is lacking.
