Welcome to Recording.org
Please feel welcome to introduce yourself, share how you found us or simply just say hello!
I have even found my own Rec.org post at the top of a Google search, #1 on a list of hundreds.
Rec.org = Google magnet?
PS......maybe Christmas shoppers?
I also found you through a gear search. I was shocked to find such a comprehensive site. Thanks to all who made this possible. 8-) I was struggling with my new equiptment but I now feel like I have an ace up my sleeve.
Now to figure out what to put in the PC I'm gonna build....
Since then I've just about bankrupted myself! Ah well... My AT4060 should be arriving tomorrow, to join the Apogee Mini-Me I bought last month, and the AT4047 the month before that. Oh dear, I think I'd better start looking up knitting websites, but then again, cashmere can be quite expensive. Isn't there a good website dedicated to something cheap out there?
Thanks RO for all of the expertise that you've put at my disposal over the last few months!
I'm new to the site. I'm from Madison Wisconsin. Stumbled upon this site while looking up DIY studio forums. Looking forward to meeting you all.
My real name is Chris and I'm from Albuquerque
I'm getting active again the production and recording, and the forums I've been going to have been less and less helpful, so it's been good to rekindle my awareness of RO, and the focused content. :)
i guess the invasion of your small community has begun! That;s a MASSIVE increase in traffic! unbelievable.
I found R org via a colleague at my previous place of work , school of audio engineering (SAE for short).
Thanks for the site, it's great.
i'm very happy to have found you!

audiokid wrote: Hey all, somethings way out of the norm here. In the last few days our traffic has gone from an average of 20,000 page views a day to 80,000 a day. Our daily visitors have gone from 100 to 580 a day. This is really cool but it also has my curiosity.
Please tell us where you are coming from and how you found Recording Org?
Used to be a member a couple of years ago when I lived in the UK, sold up, bought an old farm here in france and have just got my studio up n running again. Tried to sign in on my old name but couldn't remember my password. Had changed email address to one here at home so re registered. Dam good to be back though and very gud to see your still here!!!
I've been very pleased with advise offered and have recommended it to many friends into home recording/project stuff.
Cheers guys! :D
I've been a member for a few months now.
Was searching goolge for some info on my setup and the forum came up. Absolutely cool site, has given me so much info and tips on various different projects I'm working on in Dublin, Ireland.
Thanks to everyone!
I did a google search and this web site came up.I must say this is one of the better audio recording site.I also want to thank you for all this great info as it has helped me understand a great deal about audio recording and so much more.I look forward to reading many more of the threads in the forums and learning so much more.
I just joined but I found the site about a month ago by googling for drum micing techniques. I'll be starting a new project soon with a drummer friend and will have all the time I want to experiment with him. I wanted to try as many ideas as I could find and he's game. It might take me a year to try everything I have found! Anyway I love this site so far.
searched, saw, joined
