Hello, I entered the competition, but I must say I have just bought Reason Suite 11. So maybe it is more fair to cut me from the competition in order that others can win it, instead of me having three complete DAW's. I had already Ableton Live Suite 10, now I added Reason, and I don't really need a third one.

Just thought that was fair.......

Good luck for the other compatitors, and many thanks!!!!

Hey miyaru, i also (upgraded) to reason 11 suite. One of the main reasons (lol) was because 11 is the first version that allows the reason modules, including the ssl style channel strip, as individual pluggins/instruments within a daw. Previously you could not do this, and rewire was the work around, but was slightly clumsy.

Anyway you may find samplitudes killer sound quality, and unique features, particularly object based editing, make it optimal for your daw. I remember Ableton used run in protools via rewire, so its possible you can run both reason, and ableton, within samplitude, which would be ridiculous powerful and great sounding.

Anyway just figured id toss that out there.

Yes, you are right, I would like to have it, but I thought maybe it is fair to enlarge the chances of others, that was the main reason - not that I did not like it!!!!!

And yes Reason 11 Suite is fun!!! I hardly used Abelton LIve Suite 10 anymore, especially since I have this Retouch PusheR2 software turning my Ableton Push2 controller in a killer Reason Controller. With the knowbs and buttons you can control the SSL style mixer, instruments and fx's. There is also a mode to control all the edit stuff!

After alsmost 25 yrs working with all kinds of DAW's it is easy to understand Reason 11, and I like the patching possibilities. Mostly I split and patch all the Kong Drum channels in their own mixchannels to have fully fletched SSL control over all the drumsounds.

Yes it is lovely!!!! Well, then keep me in the competition, we see how far we come.....
