LOL...what do you mean "one day"? I think we already passed that mile marker a few years back, pal.
I mean, really, if you think about it, probably at least half the consumers of musical instruments and recording gear are "hobbyists". ;)

These guys play these pads like an instrument. Very impressive. I thought I was good at this but I can see these guys spend hours if not years perfecting their fingering. Not much different than me spending years play guitar if you ask me.
Live, a totally agree with Marco but when it comes to recording... pretty hard to dispute this is great sound and taks skill for laying down good drum tracks.
