It all started as a stupid idea on a bulletin board. And now it is completed. The "Independent Artist Coalition", as we chose to call our rag-tag gang of 22 performers from all over the planet (8 countries) joining virtual hands and by MP3 technology collaborated on one song, a unity-song for this beaten up world we live in.
The mix is perhaps not stellar, but based on what I had to work with, and the fact that EVERYTHING came to me as MP3's, recorded in as many quality-levels as there was performers (laptop microphones, even), the end result works suprisingly well.
And any proceeds goes to the RED CROSS.
Without further ado, go to http://www.mp3Charity.com and listen to the internet version of "we are the world"
Also check the [="http://www.mp3charity.com/bios"]artist bios[/] and the [="http://www.mp3charity.com/process"]info on how it all came to be[/].
Peace
