Analyzing software

I use ProTools LE on a Mac. I've been using both Waves PAZ and the Ionizer Demo to analyze good sounding commercial CDs.

It's my belief that the clairty and extra loudness of a commercial CD has to do with what is taken out.

My mixes sound fine, but they don't approach the loudness of a commercial CD.

What analyzing software do you all recommend?

To my belief, you don't need analysing software to get that level, you need plug-in like L2 or L1 and multiband compressors like C4, MDT or MasterX, Paz is only for interpreting what's goin on but no more( phase correlation and frequency content.
