Anyone actually use or hear the Spider??

I was curious if anyone has had any "hands on" with the Cranesong Spider .............. how was it? The second coming of Christ or just another day in land of 0's & 1's?? Seems like quite the package with a high bang for the buck factor, if you can muster up that kind of green.

Hi -
I've got a Spider, but I haven't really put it to the test yet (waiting for wordclock distribution - got a Genx6 on the way). I did fire it up and record a little acoustic guitar; it sounds phenomenal. I have other Crane Song gear that I use regularly (Flamingo, Trakkers) and I have to say that it is absolutely top-shelf world-class equipment. Now I have to upgrade everthing else in the studio to equal the quality

I'm wondering if it affords the opporitunity to use the tape emulation on the master fader ala Fatso.
DigitMus - after you get the chance to put it through it's paces please report back & let us know your thoughts ............. It'd be greatly appreciated.
