First off....no caps please! That's considered yelling...thanks.
NTFS all around. Better to keep it as one format.
There is no performance difference in the long run between the two formats.
NTFS just has better security for your files plus with NTFS if you shut your system down by the power switch you don't get the silly scan disc $*^t that you get with FAT32.
Stick with NTFS as it's easier and allows you to format in larger sizes without having to use FDISK!!!
When you install the OS make sure you install it into an NTFS format. New Technology File System...it's a table allocation system used for the NT based systems. If it asks you what format you want to use on the data partition use FAT32..FAT32 is proven to be a lot faster for audio performance on data pull and stream..at least 10% faster. Plus defragging on an NTFS takes longer than a drive formatted as FAT32.
Please do!!! You might not realize, but your tutorials and knowledge are highly depended on and appreciated by numerous less gifted computer users, including myself. Thanks for being here, Opus, and helping us out!
