Digital Sync Hell

I was trying to figure that one out: how to set up a Lexicon MPX1, Digi 001 and a Presonus Digimax all together, all digital?
If I have the Digimax as clock source via lightpipe into the 001 (w/ clock set to digital), 001 out via spdif into MPX1 (w/ clock set do external/digital) then MPX1 spdif out back into the 001. Will I have clicks and pops on the effect return from the MPX1?
Is someone working w/ a similar setup?

If this is something your going to stick with for a while you may want to get a word clock, especially if you are looking at adding more digital pieces over time, what you describe should work ...but might not???? try it out,I don't know the Lexi piece well enough to know. I just know when I used to daisy chain stuff it was always a nightmare somewhere. I have A Gen-x 6 by Lucid and Aardark sync 2 both work well , you can pick up a gen-x for around $350.00 this will clock your stuff clean for you. good luck
