Hows this field recording rig sound?

Marantz cdr300 (for 16bit/44.1) - 599$
+ (RPS300 battery pack) - $160
+ Carry Bag (porta brace doesnt seem to have a case for the cdr300, know of any?) - ?$

AKG se300b + ck 98 - 259$ + 199$
+ Windscreen - 30-60$

Shure sm57 x 2 for dyamic and stereo uses(Although a 20-20 would be prefered) - 160$

Wired boom - 300$

mic atten 25db - 40$

Sony MDRv600s (Allready own and im very happy with them)

Hows this sound to get started? Any suggestions?

Oh yeah this all for working in the 16bit/44.1 domain...

I dont neccasarily need 24bit/96khz recording at the moment...

I know I could go laptop and firewire i/o etc, but id rather not use a laptop in the field...

I like to work on audio at home... But of course a lappy for the road would be nice to use for editing if im far from home. Recording would be too time consuming
