Looking for sequencer

I'm looking for a sequencer with the following features:
- Either PC or hardware
- Pattern based
- Sync to MTC/SMPTE or has own smartsync
- Can switch on and off patterns/channels while running

Is there anything like this around?
Any suggestions?

The closest thing I've found so far is the MPC2000XL, whic of course have the added bonus of a built-in sampler. Not a bad choice, but I can't afford it quite yet.

Hmmm,
I found this a while back at the vintage synth site. It lists some things that may be of interest to you: http://www.vintagesynth.com/misc/sequencers.html

I think a few of the ones listed would be what your looking for, and possibly dirt cheap on the used market to boot.

For software, you know, the usual suspects.
