Mic/Preamp combo for Female Pop Vocals

Just wanted to get a list of mic/preamp combos that people are using to capture female pop vocals. The lady I'm tracking has a range similar to Celine Dion, Laura Fabian.

I like a Focusrite 215 around when doing female vocals..

Mic pre??? various audition for the best sounding one

Allan that's too general a question. There are too many viriables. Sometimes a Sony C800G with an Api is the ticket. A Telefunken 251 with a Neve 1081 can do wonders. A U47 with a GML mic pre can fit the bill. The venerable U87 with a Focusrite Red mic pre or a Manley Voxbox can be it. Or you can do what Humberto Gatica does when tracking Celine, a handpicked Telefunken Elam 251, with a custom mic pre,DBX 160 and a GML8200. Every female vox is different, so your chain may vary. But all of the one's I've mentioned have worked over and over again. Hope this helps.
