Both Millennia and Great River 2NV excel on Royer. Although I don't have the Royer V series (tube ribbons), I'm pretty confident that the Millennia M-2b (tube pre) takes Royer closer into the V world. Its a pricey investment but what a combo and some. Those two pre-amps are everything I need.

I was just looking at the Opals [[URL][/URL]="http://www.eventelectronics.com/opal"]Event Electronics | Reference Studio Monitoring | opal[/[URL][/URL]] monitors. These may be my third choice . Has anyone heard these?
The new Neumann KH120 I have are really nice, Bob, try and demo those.
