i was recently in the studio and the engineer wanted my wav files or broadcast wav files to transport into pro tools and using sonar3 the only way i could give him wav file was to burn it track by track and give it to him that way im sure their is a easier way pleeease help.. studio time cost money and time flew by while waiting on each track and the synch them.

That seems to be the only way....

It may be wise to do this before hand and leave your Sonar computer home. All you'll need is a CD with the Wav files on them.

Bounce each track from the very beginning, regardless of silence, that way it'll be a snap to line them up in PT or Radar.

Marks right. I have a friend who did the same thing. At the time he was using Cubase 3.06 & a few tracks done on Cakewalk Pro before he got Cubase. And Mark probably knows of this studio in Fort Washington, MD. (Night Flight), which they did an excellent job doing the transfers. They did instruct him to put everything in .wav format so it would intergrate easily into Pro Tools. I assume in the future, some if not all programs will have some way of making it easier to cross-platform material so we won't have to go through this kind of stuff. Just a little wishful thinking. :D
