studio design

does anybody know any good sites with detailed information on building a pro studio/control room?

from design to shape/size to materials, etc.???

You can check out the floor plans of most of the big commercial studios on their web sites. This will give you a vague idea on shape, but not much else.
I've heard of a few books on the subject but I think the best suggestion is to talk to a really good designer/architect. It's money well spent. Or were you keen on a DIY job?
