Well, you should look at what you pay for a new pair of V8's and then settle for about half of that price, but of cause it depends on how bad you want them. If they are in good condition, you can go a little higher but keep in mind, that you may have to recone them. Listen carefully to them with some music you know really well. A good thing is to make a CD with some good, raw recordings of a bass and a piano playing just long, single notes. Listen if it plays back clean without any unpleasant noise. In this way, it's easy to hear if something is wrong with the speakerunits. That's been really helpfull to me.
