I know there's some kind of cable involved. But what kind of cord? I have a generic soundcard so it doesnt connect to that. What cord am I looking for? I'm not worried about multiple midi things connected. Just midi keyboard -> computer.

What kind of computer (Mac or PC), what kind of soundcard? There's a standard "joystick to MIDI" thing for gaming cards. Others have a little din cable on the back that fans out to MIDI.
