Hi everyone,

I recently bought an Alesis io4 interface (which came with Cubase Le 5) and an se2000 condenser mic. Everything is all set up and plugged in correctly, cube base is registered and so on. However, although I can hear the condenser microphone through my headphones via the interface, my laptop doesn't seem to be picking it up. The laptop just records through the laptop microphone and doesn't register the condenser at all. Furthering that after recording I can't hear anything back, even though the eq show something has been recorded. All the device setup is god, mono in, stereo out and I downloaded asio4all and set it as my driver. I've restarted my laptop, cube base and the interface many times but I'm still having the same issue. Any help will be much appreciated (:

Don't use Asio4All, your Alesis interface comes with it's own ASIO driver, use that one instead, set in the Device Setup menu and then recheck all your ins and outs (in Cubase) once you've made the switch.
