Hey everyone I am new here so I don’t know if this post is even in the right thread. I am also new to recording and mixing and wish to ask a simple question. I play a game called Counter Strike Source and in it they have radio sounds that can be used while playing the game. What I am trying to do is replace them with my own. What I want is to make new ones that sound like the communications from pilots. There’s that ripple effect in there voice and the quick pop at the end of each dialog. I have Sound forge 7.0 and a Plantronics headset with mic. I know its not pro or anything but is there a filter that I can have my voice processed threw or is there a technique that I use to get this sound accomplished.
