So here is the M-box Mini interface that I am using with Logic Pro 9 . I am thinking about buying a Korg MicroKor because the sounds on it and vocoder but I would also want to be able to use it as a midi controller to control my software instruments in Logic. I currently use a M-Audio Axiom and I connect that to my computer via USB . How would I connect the MicroKorg to my computer ? It doesn't make sense to me . . . there is a a MIDI out and MIDI in but am I supposed to connect that to my interface ? I feel like this may be a dumb question but I've only used USB to connect MIDI controllers to computers in the past.

What MIDI functions will the Korg do that the M-Audio won't? Just wondering. I can see wanting the Korg for its sounds...and you still need a MIDI interface to have the M-Audio controller or computer play the Korg as a controlled device from either of them (if it doesn't have USB MIDI)...but why the desire to use it, instead of the M-Audio, which has a LOT of MIDI-controller functionality?

Just wondering.

mostly to conserve space. I would rather have just one keyboard in my room.
