Hi,

I'm using Cubase 2.2 SX and man, I was so thrilled when I was finally able to record in my electric drums (Yamaha DTXpress 2), base and guitar.

I started with a short test recording in a base track and a couple of guitar tracks (with guitar rig inserts). That worked out fine and I was able to make a mixdown of it to mp3.

Then I made a complete blues song with an electric drum track (audio, no inserts), base track and a couple of guitar tracks (rythm and solo, guitar rig inserts).
And when I finally wanted to make a mp3 out of it with mixdown I get the error: An error has occured during mixdown... and it doesn't do it.
I have tryed with different mixdown settings and extensions (wav) with the same result.

I started a completely new project, played in the drums, made a mixdown and it was successfull! Then ai played in 2 base tracks and then tryed the mixdown and get the error again!

I have re-installed the Cubase software, didn't help.
My soundcard is Audiophile 2496, I have recorded by plugging in the drums and other instruments directly into the soundcard as audio (RCA).
I intend to buy a small mixer... if I'd get this working..
I have a brand new computer 3500+ 2gb ram, so I don't think the problem is with the hardware capacity?

I would greatly appreciate some help! I wan't to play and record, It is awesome! I'd be so happy if I'd find a solution for this :)

EDIT: I promise to respond how your tips turn out.. if ai get any
Darn whole weekend would have been free for recording :?
