Does anyone know of any really good Logic Audio books for Logic Audio 5.5 windows. I was using Cubase before, I started using Logic and everything works so much better especially plugins i dont know why, One of the problems I am having is just setting up my Roland synth recording to a track and playing back. Does anyone know of a good book that will help you do all this from start to finish?

By far the easiest way to learn Logic is to find someone who knows what they're doing, grab their preferences file and key commands list, and mooch off of their knowledge. Eventually, you'll find out what you like about their settings, and what you don't, and you'll be on your way.

With that specific task itself, no, but I did read the Stephen Bennett title, Making Music with Emagic Logic Audio. It covers up to version 4, but there's still plenty of good stuff.
The Manual helped me set up my synths without too much hassle at all, besides typing in patch names. Let me know if you need help, I'd be glad to assist if you need it. Look in the Environment Chapter (I think Chapter 5) and read about multi instrument objects. It has everything you need to know. Also check around the net. Chances are, if your synth is popular enough, someone else has already done the work and shared it. Try http://www.swiftkick.com
The most monotonous part is actually typing in the patch names. The trickiest part is defining the bank-select sysex strings. But its all simple once you've done it ten times.
