This is starting to border on spamming, which is greatly frowned on around here by everyone, that is, until they want to make an exception for their own "important" issue. This is the third post you've done with essentially the exact same content. At least, three that I've discovered so far... :w:

Spamming would mean that I have something to gain
(as I understand it). All I want is some information from a few people who I trust. The only way we can get that info is to get some people
to stop by. I know the subject matter is a little boring but sometimes we have to wade through the muck to figure things out. Ultimately, we're trying to find answers that will affect you and anyone else who uses digital audio. I'll try and be a bit more careful so as not to offend the sensitive folk around here. If you look around in other forums you will find contributions on a wide variety of subjects (equally boring but needed to make music) so this is not a one trick pony situation. Sometimes you have to push the boulder hard to make it move an inch. Please excuse my enthusiasm but as a guy who paid the cover, I just wanna do my dance.

Hey Chap - no offense intended!

Certainly wasn't trying to scare you away - just trying to hip you to the courtesy/convention around here of not putting the same post up in a half dozen different places. Just pick the most relevant one. Two is occasionally acceptable, if one is on the DAW side of the fence. Any more than that, whether it is correct traditional useage or not of the term, around here we call it spamming.

Anyway, welcome aboard. All your other posts so far have been great. :w:

I understand. People are much more sensitive to the'spamming' aspect than the actual substance. I'll be more careful. We are trying to resolve or shed light on a legitimate problem. One that will only get more and more convaluted unless we address it now. That's why I paid for the site out of my own pocket. I could have bought a RNC or some other useful piece of gear but decided to throw myself on my sword. I've taken more than a few tongue lashings for it so don't feel bad. Like I said, it's not about winning, it's about resolving.

Jules!! How did you end up with your 2-bus management? Did you build a box? I've become acutely aware of it since you pointed it out and when I purchase a solution I'll blame it on you and you'll have to deal with my wife.
