Hi guys,
I would like to ask for your help: I'm trying to remove that background drone-sound trom this track, which you can hear from the beginning, parallel with the high pitched violin sound. Is there any way to remove that? I tried Ableton Equalizer, Audacity and Melodyne, but didn't find the way yet. The main problem is, that i couldn't hear it separated in the track.

Thanks in advance!

The only way to remove an instrument without leaving any artifacts is to go back to the mixing phase and mute it.
The reason is simple; multi instruments audio is a mix of sounds that shares common frequencies and ambiances. To remove one completely, you would affect every others. Or like a soup recipe, once mixed and cooked, you can remove the chicken bits but it will still have a chicken taste.

Many people tries to do things like you are as shortcuts or because they don't Own the music they want to use.
This is not a hard arrangement to understand and reproduce. If you can't, hire a musician that can do it ;)

Samplitude has a spectral editing program that is pretty incredible when narrowing down what you want filtered. It assigns the specific sound a color, and then allows to you to filter that color out.

I don't know how it would work with this ... I'd offer to help, but I don't have the newest version of Samp, which includes the spectral editing feature.
There are several other member here who do own this program... you might want to talk to one of them and see how much they'd charge you to do it for you..

audiokid - Chris has this version, but I don't know if he has the time, he's pretty busy right now...

You might try going over to the Samplitude user's forum - http://support2.magix.net/boards/samplitude//index.php?act=idx - and see if someone over there would be willing to help.
