Hi there!

I'm used to working with Nuendo for PC. There are a couple of things I really like about it, but I'm now working on a Mac workstation and am looking for some good mac recording software. The main thing I like about Nuendo that I don't see elsewhere is the ability to do multiple takes on a single track, and crossfade between them really easily. Any mac software do this?

Thanks!
Chris

Logic Express / Logic Pro

It has been said that Logic is the best software for a mac. I am a user myself, and there is tons of help available online for new users. It's a win/win if you ask me. It's one of the hardest DAW's to learn, but it's worth it, and you might like it as it looks pretty similar to nuendo IMO.

Hello stompeers,
welcome to RO! Guitarfreak mentioned about Logic Pro for the Mac being a good DAW for mac, and I will second the motion.

I am also a user and believer in Logic. Yes you can do multiple takes on a single track, however I am not well versed in how to do this new multi-comp feature. Its certainly is not as easy as they make it look. I know you can do it, I have tried but certainly have not mastered it yet.
