Based on the CD scenario, I don't expect to see him back again any time soon.
Let me take this occasion to publicly thank Bill Roberts for the personal time and attention he has directed to my music. Bill's suggestions and comments have been educational and informative, and I am grateful for his kind attention.
I had pretty must quit coming here. One day, out of the blue, I recieved a personal phone call from Bill in which he discussed a tune I had submitted to his critique forum. He also encouraged me to come back to RO again and participate more actively. I submitted more tunes and was grateful to be considered and accepted for the compilation CD.
Bill, thanks a lot, my friend. Shalom and go with God.
regards,
Tom Hicks

If Bill is choosing to not answer his email, or respond to people then that's his prerogative and most certainly out of anyones control but his. I personally tried for many days to contact him. He has also stepped down as a moderator here, hopefully he will be back.

You know millionVALVE.......YOU'RE RIGHT.

I got a PM from him the day before yesterday wanting to know my address and how I wanted to proceed concerning my participation with the APRO CD and that he was no longer a participant at RO in any capacity...Moderator or otherwise.

I tried to send him a PM back but I got a page saying that his PM message box was full (I guess everyone's trying to get to him) and I also tried calling the number in his signature but got a message saying that was full also. I've been trying but I can't contact him to let him know how I'd like to proceed.

Anybody got any ideas.

To claify a bit more, Bill made posts "in private" about APRO along with other things that contributed to the downfall of APRO. I/we are not at liberity to make it public nor do I think we should have to explain things in depth. If Bill wants to come forth and publically clear anything up, maybe we could all rest but I think this is way over boiled. The few not getting it should please have the respect to let this pass so we can try it again without all the fuss. This didn't pan out guys. If we don't mellow and show some higher level understanding it worries me to ever think it's possible to do this style of promotion for members again. Are we okay here or what? Your call.

You know you guys are making it look like Bill has been banned from the site. Nothing could be further from the truth. I am glad to see that Bill decided to pick up the ball and run with it. IMO that is the best thing that could happen for all involved. Chris even offered to facillitate payments through Pay Pal or a dedicated page if you will all recall. As far as I know, Bill is welcome here anytime if he wishes. Kurt
