Mackie M2600 power amp.
Symptoms:
Channel 1 has 'Short' & 'Protect' LEDs continually lit
Channel 2 has 'Short' LED continually lit
Amp operates, tested for 2 hours continuous loud music
What I tried so far:
For ALL connectors (ribbon, spade) I opened each connection, sprayed De-OxIt, exercised the connection by plugging in, unplugging , plugging in.
Reassembled the amp and the same LEDs are on, still operational.
It was removed from service at church a couple of years ago because the LEDs stayed on.
Suggestions?

Clearly if the amp is operating correctly there must be faults in the monitoring circuits. To determine what these may be would be easiest with a schematic - if available. Otherwise you may be best to take this to a tech who should be able to trace the relevant sections and find the fault(s).
Anyone have the M2600 schematics???
