Avid Omni as Windows audio device

I have an Avid Omni connected to a Windows 10 computer via a Digilink card. I have a Digilink license. It works fine with Pro Tools 2018.

I have a situation where I temporarily need the Omni to work as a regular Widows audio device so I can use it without using Pro Tools. I have heard that this is definitely possible but I can't figure out how to do it.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Make a windows search for control pannel (the old control pannel) go into sound and choose your audio interface as default !

Come back to say if it works ...

Did you try to right click in the area and select display deactivated and disconnected units ?
Other than that make sure all new drivers installed (Digilink and Omni).. sorry I'm not more specific I don't own the Omni ..

Digilink is a proprietary interface and does not install in Windows as an audio device that other DAWs could use.

It's possible that there is a driver for the Digilink hardware that can make it appear as an audio device, however, I don't know of one.
