I have a small studio with one live tracking room and one control room. We are in the process of adding a vocal booth. I have some outboard preamps I would like to have access to in both the vocal booth and the main tracking room. I need to be able to patch into the inputs of these pres. I am currently using a TRS 1/4" patchbaybut will be upgrading to a TT patchbay soon.
Can I patch the inputs of the pres through either type of patchbay?
Can I send phantom power through the patchbay? Thanks for your help.

Yes. They are both balanced connections.
Can I send phantom power through the patchbay?
Yes, but be careful. It is best to disable phantom before patching, then turn it back on once the patch is made. Also don't "jiggle" a scratchy connection while the phantom is on.
