Well, if it's so bad, perhaps a clip we could hear is better than a phone number, that's hardly of any use at all is it? It's also in a section where people chat about other things. If you had spent a moment looking for similar posts you'd have found it, and your copy and pasted other post is in another totally wrong area, making readers perhaps assume there's something weird going on. I've never clicked on a phone number in a post, and aren't starting now. If you really have a problem and are not some weird spammer, post a clip or a link to the clip, or at least explain what you've already done.

Apologies for the cornucopia of errors I made in both the request made and the proper posting of it.

I think maybe due to my complete lack of experience in the use of message boards, if they are even called that anymore...forums? Coupled with the new experience in dealing with folks via a website and not face to face has muddled my articulation.

Combine the latter two facts in tandem with the two presently fourth coming ones,

1. my old fashion general nativity, regarding just about everything to be sure, but mostly that given the opportunity most folks tend to lend a hand when it costs them nothing

2. That being flippant and crass in a public forum is almost always done not to impress others, because it doesn't but almost always to self inflate a damaged or under developed ego.

I do appreciate your insight and would be happy to accept anymore advice so readily given.

The high pitch ringing is easy to remove because it's very narrow, but I doubt the underwater like voice could.
I've done too many tries at this, either I'm not good at it, the tools doesn't exist yet or it's just not possible to retrieve what doesn't exist.. ;)

Yep - me too. The screetches were quite simple to remove but recovering the voices was beyond me - well at least in the 30 mins or so I tried. What actually happened to the recording to make it this dreadful?

Are you looking for an audio transcript? I'm assuming this is some audio "evidence" of some kind? Like what's the deal dude?

So someone how this is a recording made on a cheap phone . This phone while recording called my phone apparently right before I left the house and it continued to record as I ran an errand and then returned home.

More than anything I am looking to be able to make out some percentage of the whispered conversation and whatever Extra curricular activity may or may not be transpiring. More than anything to I guess not give peace of mind but obviously the parts that I am able to make out are disconcerting

You need to go to reddit or gearsluts for this... they'll be all over it.

I had some slight success with change the speed of the recording and the pitch. It did make the voices sound alien and drawn out but it did make more of the spoken words understandable.

Perhaps someone worh more knowledge then I can apply this method or tell me why I am off base

If you suspect your wife, talking with her might be more proactive than sneaky recordings.
Since the doubts are already there, you already have a problem. You need to determine the source of the problem, you or her !

Here's a little advice: You don't need to prove anything to anyone - you just need to ask yourself if you are happy living the way you are living and being with the partner you are living with. Every day you wake up and look in the mirror and the guy looking back to you is the only one you have to be accountable to. You don't need to catch her in a lie, or offer proof of a lie to your friends or parents or whatever -- you just need to ask if this is how you want to live.... If it's not - make the easiest decision in the world and end the bullshit. All the details will sort themselves out after - kids, finances, logistics..... but that guy looking at you in the mirror -- he's wondering what the hell you are doing on this circus train. It's ridiculous isn't it? You're driving yourself crazy looking to go all CSI on her on a pro audio forum.... dude? right? You can end this now really really easy. And when you do you'll slepp sound and wake up to a world of new possibility.
