I am running a dell win XP computer with
M-Audio Delta 1010LT
in combination with
M-Audio Delta 44
The 44 is the only one with the inputs that crackle, and it's only sometimes. Sometimes it'll record great, other times, I'll get a bad crackling noise. I tried increasing the samples in the hardware control panel, nothing. Anyone have any ideas on why it would crackle, and only sometimes?

lower your buffer settings to 512 (or the next one up) when reco
lower your buffer settings to 512 (or the next one up) when recording. Then raise em back up when mixing.
