Greetings,

I would like some help regarding the matter. I am torn between these two laptops as my audio workstation. Both will be identical in regards to specs: from the processor, storage, memory, OS,Software(CUBASE), etc..

My question would be what could be the difference between the two as being a DAW Laptop? Which would be reliable? Performance wise would there any noticable difference? Why would I choose SAGER from ADK and vice versa?

Thanks!

Welcome to RO. These keywords are posted all over the web and not one reply has suggested another company. Like a Brownies ADK cookie campaign, or even better, a telephone call center working the web from abroad.
I've got one of those as a cup holder. Yes, its unplugged, I know better. I may use for parts if I get desperate. hehe, just kidding.

Well, before I bought any pro audio DAW system, I would definitely check out PCAudioLabs.com too. Totally awesome service and knowledge. They put the money into where it counts. Out of the 5 DAW's I have in my studio, PCAudioLabs exceeds in every way.
My new i7 is better than I ever expected. I needed some help yesterday. I called Fred, he did a remote login and loaded drivers, updated things, tweaked what was needed, asked me if there was anything else he could do. What a great experience.
Its the quietest and smoothest system I've ever owned. Their company track record is very impressive an I see why. Class act.
I haven't looked up Sager but I will now.

Tell us what you are going to be recording, how many tracks, what gear you use etc?

Well I'm doing electronic/IDM(hate to say that:]) music. I'll only be recording about 2-4tracks, about 4 is max at once. Some of my gears that'll be used are Electribe Er-1, Korg Delta synth, my guitar with different fx units, and my friends' Roland 505 Groovebox and SP606. My DAW software will be CUBASE. I've checked out PCAudioLabs also and they are also in my list, but its a little bit pricey and I don't know a little more convinving would do:)

Come on!

They can't be anymore than ADK or any better... Something in this thread just isn't making sense from the get go. Someone is feeding you a bunch of pre sales rubish or you are trolling for ADK?
Either way... Normally I wouldn't continue beyond here but as a service to my community, I go out of my way to support good companies that I've had first hand experience with. My experience with PCAudioLabs vs ADK, Hands down... PCAudioLabs. Both companies CP are in my studio.

If you want a brand new ADK rack mount Core 2 XP pro "" I will sell you mine for $1200 right now! ADK is nice, but it's not in the same league as PCAudioLabs build, including class of service.

Have you actually called PCAudioLabs and compared apples to apples? If you are serious about pro audio and not working with a Singapore call center... , do yourself a favour and call:
