I don't expect a big discussion here, but for the record, I was blown away by how much of a difference the quality of a DI box makes to the clarity of the audio signal. We have ProCo CB-1 DI boxes at our church and last night I took my Radial ProAV2 DI to a practice for comparison with an acoustic guitar. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I couldn't believe how much the Radial DI cleaned up the signal. That guitar went from muddy, distorted garbage to CLEAR! Not that the CB-1 isn't usable for those who can't afford $250-$200 DI boxes, but what a difference!

Surprised, but shouldn't be...

Youp, Radial builds good stuff. We still use some old DIs from a company that went out of business ages ago, alltough they are so incredibly well sounding.
But the Radial DIs are on level with those. If one is serious about recording and needs to use a DI... it often costs a little ( rather a lottl ) more.
