Hi guys, I've got a Focusrite ISA 430 MK II, and I need a channel strip with a different kind of sound, so I can get two kind of sounds out of my setup. What do you guys recommend?

I just. need to know!

Yeah, but what about a channel strip?

That looks cool - eight tubes!

However, although the routing options in the 430 mk II mean that I could use the vipre with the eq and compressor, I was thinking another channel strip, since that would make things simpler.

What other channel strip do you recommend and why?

I gonna record some heavy rock with a few soft songs.(y)

API 7600 would be an ideal compliment to the Focusrite. You may very well want to dump that 430 MK II for another 7600 after you hear and use one.
