Hey guys,

Thanks a lot for the advice on recording programs and such earlier. I'm looking at getting Drumkit from Hell now and using a sampler with it for my drums. However, I've never used a sampler before, so I thought I'd get a demo version of one to try out and get a feel for one before buying it.

I thought I would use Native Instrument's Battery, since someone else said they used it and it was pretty simple. I'm going to get the demo version available for it and try it out, but I can't find the instruction manual for download anywhere on the net. I've looked on their websiter and done various searches, but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get a copy, or find information on how to use this thing? Thanks!

Native Instruments only provide paper manuals, no PDF manuals. Battery isn't extremely complicated though - to load the Drumkit from Hell, click on the File button on the right-hand side panel and select Load Kit. Then you find the Battery drum map for the Drumkit from Hell kit, and in case it doesn't automatically locate the folder with the samples you need to find it manually (it's quite stupid, I tell you!). Just open the appropriate folder and click OK, and it should work.

The rest works as an ordinary sampler - you can control envelopes, loop points, shape, etc.

Is that any help?
