It is!. What amazes me is how some people never update their firmware or software on modern gear. This thing, just like the H9 Max has a software interface via H9 Control, have to use USB though. The difference for handling some changes and storage of patches etc makes a HUGE difference. Only downside of buying off eBay, it came with a slightly dodgy power supply. It works fine as long as you don't jiggle the cord where it meets the DC socket. Not an issue for studio, but I would hate it live!!.

Edit: Good news is, replacement PSU inclusive of delivery is only £15.49. I can live with that :). Peace of mind!!.

Mine was second hand Marco :). I suspect it's a few years old. It's literally just the cable. One of the reasons I am not a huge fan of wall warts. The actual pedal is rock solid and works perfectly. I am just a bit fussy about intermittent power :0) LOL.

One of my artists came in some time ago for a recording session with one of those pedals that had exactly the same problem. I had to fix it on the spot to avoid it sending me crazy through it cutting out mid-take.

If I remember correctly, the problem was the usual design fault of the power inlet jack being held to the PCB only by the solder on its connection pins. They can't withstand the unit being kicked around while still connected to its power cable. Re-solder the pads on the power inlet jack and it's fixed until the next time somebody trips over it.

You have to be a repair shop as well as a studio!

Having finally got my new PSU, I decided time for one more additional device. I bought a lightning to USB adapter for my iPad. The result is I can speak to the Eventide H9 on Bluetooth and the time factor on usb in the H9 app. While I was on a roll I decided to use my cheapie laptop to run my Line 6 Pod Hd500x. I now have full plugin style control of all my pedals. That makes me much happier!.
