John Eargle books tend to be my favorite, the guy is a genius.

Another book that I highly recommend that isnt so much about the practice of recording, but about mindset, is an eternal golden braid

Yes, that is fantastic. I was trying to reply to audiokid, but havent figured out how to PM. (you have to pay to PM?)
