I know they play in a different league...

I mix mostly acoustic music, jazz, latin or fusion. Right know i'm moving to a lsmaller room, let's say 8' x 11' x 12'. I'm very used to NS10Ms Whichone would you choose? Does the price difference really worth it?

Thank you in advance

One works for you. One is to impress your clients. Only you can decide. I don't like, have never worked upon, nor want to on NS-10's. I don't care what people say. If your speakers need toilet paper? There is something drastically wrong.

There's something I want to make clear. I would like to do a test between them but the real thing in my country is that there are little places were these monitors can be found and they have no show room or will only work with one of the brands. Yamaha distributor hasa to order a pair only if I buy them and there is only one authorized distributor that I know from Dynaudio and it 150 miles away from home and have no car.

That's why I'm asking. I know there is a lot about taste with monitors and a lot about room modes and acoustics. I think I can test the BM5a in a friend's friend home studio but I would like to have some opinions before. I don't know where to find the HS50m to test them.

Thank you!
