Im looking to purchase a laptop for remote work. My platform is a digi 002 with a Mackie onyx supplying an extra 8 ins. What I'm wondering is with an external FW drive, will the latest ibook G4 with no trouble allow me to record 16 tracks at once with my setup.? This laptop is needed only for tracking, not mixing. Thanks advance.
