I heard this plugin is really good, but I'm hard pressed to shell out $1500 for the full PCM version. Just wondering what I would be missing out on if I just got the LXP version...

I got the Lexicon Native Reverb. I can't compare it to the LXP v
I got the Lexicon Native Reverb. I can't compare it to the LXP version though. The nicest thing about the Native versus hardware, besides being very easy to use (especially compared to the older hardware units), is being able to run and use or compare multiple instances of the reverb. It uses very little CPU power.

I'm really looking forward to hearing the UAD emulation. I'll probably hold off buying it until there is a sale or I have a project that cries out for it. Its a sound I really like, but it's not the kind of thing I've been recording. However, I was thinking about doing a Contemporary Christian album this summer, and the '80's ballad style is perfect for that.
A PCM70 or 90 won't set you back much, is another option.
