M-2b and this is so big and beautiful, who needs s e x . I need the other half of the stellar combo to be at peace with my wife now. She keeps hearing me howl Millennia at night and wonders who I am drooling about.:cool:
I just watched the entire video on the HV-3R to fully understand what its all about.
Anyone know if the remote assignable 8 tracks feature seen (timeline 2:50) can be used outside of Pro Tools; with other high end DAW's like Nuendo or Sequoia or even Reaper?

The couple of guys I know that have them, park them up above the orchestra in the catwalks where they hang the mic's and remote control them from the booth. I've never seen them in action but they must work great or they'd replace them. I don't actually know about the AD/DA option. Grace has a remote control 8 pre unit as well as Aphex. I believe I read somewhere, where an engineer ran a set of Aphex pre's for an orchestra concert (Seattle maybe?) through the internet from the opposite coast. I thought that was pretty cool.
