Okay, so after thinking and reading alot, I think I'm going to stick with my msp5s for mixing. I feel like they're accurate - the only gripe I have is low-end.

I'm adding some auratones through a haefler amp for some hi-fi (low-fi) mix-checking.

I'd also like to add a subwoofer for just checking how it sounds down there once in a while. I won't actually mix with it on.

Does anyone have a suggestion on:

1. An inexpensive subwoofer that will be good for my purposes.

2. A good way to hook all of this up. I currently have a Digi002 sending a signal to my msp5s through the "monitor L" and "monitor R" sends. There's still a "main R" and "main L" 1/4 send and also an alternate rca L & R. I thought about getting something like the Samson C Control for this, but I'm wondering if I can do it without spending the extra $100.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

sincerely,
