There are a few of these already, I don't know how successful they are... you would have to look into it. I think you would need a few different drum kits of different sounds, a very nice (and large) selection of microphones, a great sounding room and then maybe, with the right promotion and hard work you could make it somewhat successful. Are you good at arranging drums for different genres?

I remember sound on sound reviewed the leading online drum studios. You should try to find that article as part of your market research.
